I have a collection of G-Shock watches and had often been attracted to this particular watch on mainly visual terms. With any G-Shock you know you will get a consistently top quality watch, usually designed for a broad particular use. This one is for pilots and can withstand 15G ....... but I bought it simply because I have always liked the colours and design of the watch face, all coordinated to the orange strap. I usually prefer a slightly wider face but nevertheless this one still looks good and balanced visually. I did find it a little tricky to set up the calendar etc (probably more because of my advancing years than poor design, to be honest!}. However, knowing it will remain accurate with radio controlled timekeeping and knowing it won't require expensive battery replacements, one can just enjoy this watch for its qualities, be they visual or tough movement qualities etc. Of course, this watch will withstand enormous g-force which is reassuring to know, as well as the usual 200 metres water resistance etc. Given my particular and extraordinary motivation for buying this watch (rather than my usual careful, measured investigation of a watch's features, value for money etc prior to any purchase decision) price was very important to me in this case. After carefully researching the internet, I was very pleased with ChrisElli's price, particularly as the low price did not lead to any compromise of the service I received (which was excellent!). Whenever I see extraordinarily keen prices on the internet, offered by a company I have never purchased from before, I always feel rather nervous and carefully read through as many reviews as I can. Even then I may still hesitate ........ I'm sure anyone who regularly purchases from the internet knows exactly what I mean! I need not have worried about ChrisElli who supplied an excellent product at a very keen price, quickly and professionally. I am absolutely delighted with this watch for all the reasons I have given and, although this review is supposed to be about the watch, surely excellent service needs a mention too! !!!

My first G-Shock and I Love it!
The Orange strap is not too bright, but very much makes a statement. The face of the watch is beautiful, very detailed. I Love that it is solar powered though you can't see any PV panels.
Upon opening the box and taking out the watch, it jumps into life and the hands start rotating to the correct time. Perfect!
The watch is very light, which surprised me as I am used to wearing steel cased/framed watches.

I bought this watch about 2 weeks ago， I wanted a watch between 150 and 200 pounds and this one caught my eye. After reading several reviews about this watch I was drawn to this this rough and tough time piece.

It looks a lot better in real life then the pictures show. It's not as big as i thought it would be, not a bad thing because it fits me perfectly.

I work in retail and most customers who have seen it have always commented on it asking questions about it.

Its a G -SHOCK so it's built in a certain way which casio can do. The strap is comfortable to wear. The colour combination is appealing to all ages in my opinion.

If you are considering buying this watch then grab it while you can.

One thing i must mention is this watch does not have a light.
The number dial glows in the dark and it needs some sort of light to do so.

5 mins in the sun has given me up to 7 hrs flow time.

Great watch, nice and chunky but not heavy on the wrist at all. The quality is very good and I now own 4 g-shock watches so am confident it will continue to be a very reliable good watch.
Set up was easy the solar battery and radio controlled time setting feature makes life easier, no need to ever mess with it again. It has no backlight but thd neobrite coating on the markers and hands is ver good , allows you to see the watch easily in the dark with only a very limited exposure to light.
I love it ..in the flesh it looks even better.

Great watch. Looks fab, great price but really hard to set. Had to study the manual to work out how to do it. One hour later watch finally set. Would recommend this watch to anyone, anothrr good g-shock to add to the collection.

I’ve had this watch for a couple of weeks now and am very pleased with it. I find it very comfortable to wear, much lighter than I thought it would be and proving to be accurate. For me it was initially a little fiddly to set up but no real complaints and I’m now used to the various functions. The orange wrist band is not as bright as it looks online and enhances the overall appearance of this very smart watch. Excellent value for money.

Perfect. Very quick delivery and very well packaged. Communication from ChrisElli was top notch. The watch isn't as garish in the flesh, but if it's not entirely to your taste you can buy a genuine Casio replacement for around £15 in the UK. Set-up was a doddle - the watch does it for you; all I needed to do was set it to DST for the UK. A AAA watch and a AAA supplier - I won't hesitate to order from ChrisElli in the future.
